​A native New Yorker currently transplanted in the southeast, Lisa is a cum laude graduate of Vassar College (bachelor’s degree in classics, with distinction for her senior major project, an analysis of the use of imagistic mythology in Ovid’s Metamorphoses, book VIII). She also holds a master’s degree in communications/media studies, earned with highest honors from The New School. Her course of study in media entailed computer graphics and animation, as well as writing for television and film.

Professionally, Lisa has been a writer and editor of bestsellers since 1997, with specific experience in a wide array of topics, including personal growth, professional development, popular psychology, inspiration/self-help, spirituality, comparative religion, mythology, reference, education, and various fiction genres. Currently, she focuses on writing, ghostwriting, and developmental editing, with a wide array of clients. (Past clients have included Chicken Soup for the Soul, Loyola Press, and many others).
